Meet Shauna Bloom

Shauna was raised in the San Fernando Valley. Her father ran the classic rock station KMET where she hung around rock concerts, disc jockeys and radio magic. Her grandfather, Harry Wilson was a character actor, having appeared in over 300 films, and her mother is a talented writer and psychotherapist. 

After studying  theatre at San Diego State, Shauna earned her Equity Card touring New England  with The American Stage Festival. She returned to Los Angeles and worked with many LA theatre companies including the Boston Court, Road Theatre and The Blank. Her television work includes Nip Tuck, American Horror Story and a recurring role on The Mentalist. 

In 2015, Shauna moved to  NYC, originating roles in Brigid Nora Monahan’s Aunt Jack and Lizzie Stern’s Let’s Get Ready Together. Regional work includes Bess Welden’s Refuge Malja at Portland Stage and Tariq Hamman’s Smail at Premiere Stages. New York film and TV work includes Mint, Is it a Crime and MAX’s hit comedy The Other Two. Shauna’s voice can be heard in the radio drama Craiglockhart, a Double Platinum Winner at the Hear Now Festival. 

Shauna also runs her own tutoring company. She works with students from all over the as close as 2nd Avenue and as far  as Istanbul and Slovenia. During the pandemic, she studied screenwriting with Corey Mandell and currently has three projects in development. Shauna recently won several festival awards for her short screenplay “Shokh Maidel”. 

Shauna currently lives on the Upper East Side in Manhattan and often can be found in her hometown of Sherman Oaks, California aka the San Fernando Valley.
